The brief

The Social Chain commissioned an intro for Steven Bartlett’s YouTube vlog. The animation needed to introduce his content with a digital-themed visual direction.

My role

I designed and animated the opening sequence, developing its distortion treatment and kinetic typography.

The approach

Animated type emphasizes moments and themes from the vlog. Digital distortion connects those elements within the intro’s visual treatment.
